An art and literary magazine run by two women living in the Pacific Northwest.

The blue hour is the period of twilight each morning and evening where we move from day to night. There is neither full daylight nor complete darkness. This time is considered special because of its unique quality of light.

We started this magazine because we are both poets and had spent many hours researching possible places to publish. When one magazine on the list closed due to the editor having a full time job and life etc. we decided to take matters into our own hands.

The purpose of this magazine is to provide a place where artists and writers can gather, read and see each other’s work and allow their work to be found by others. It is also a place where we can publish valuable art and put it out into the world. There are very few things greater than finding some new talent who doesn’t yet know they are good. We provide affirmation for artists.

So if you are interested in art, are an aspiring artist, or just enjoying seeing the world the way someone else does, then please come on in and enjoy.

We welcome submissions of all kinds. Please see the submissions tab above for guidelines and feel free to email us at [email protected] with any questions.
